Hi guys, I have an 88 Power ram (4x4) with the 318 engine and 3 speed auto tranny. I would like to swap it for an OD gear in a standard tranny. So I am looking at different 5 speed manuals. I am not sure what the best way is to go about doing this, because Im not sure what fits with the transfer case and the engine, and how they change over the years. I have looked at the NV3500 and the AX15, but I am not sure what is needed to do the swap, appart from the obvious clutch, pedal, flywheel etc... which i can get easilly... but finding the right gearbox that will fit is the part thats givig me a hard time. Any help would be super. Thanks... oh and minimizing costs is a good thing as always.
