1984 Dodge Sno-Commander w/ Plow
I have a chance to buy a 1984 Sno Commander with plow from an older gentleman. It was 29,000 miles, new tires, the plow is in great shape, and cosmetically it is rust free, with only a few minor paint chips etc. The only problem is, I have no idea how much it is worth. He claims he was offered $9k a few years ago, but I have no idea if that is way too much, reasonable, etc.
Any ideas?
Also, sorry if this should have been posted somewhere else, or this is somehow against forum rules. Thanks.

Seems high $9000.00
But is it 1/2 , 3/4 or 1 ton
Reg cab
6 or 8 ft. bed
was there any body work done ( repainted etc.)
What trans, engine
What brand plow and what size
is it electric over hydraulic or full hydraulic ( belt driven)
Where are you located

if you knew what a dodge snow commander was most of those questions would not be necessary. a pictures of the truck would be nice but i don't see it being worth any more than $5000 unless someone put a Cummins in it. if it had a Cummins in it it might be worth $9000.
Well since I have owned a 1973 W200 with the Sno-Fiter package and also a 1974 W200 Sno-Fiter that I bought new, and that I still have the 1976 W200 Sno-Fiter that I ordered in April of 1976 and bought 30 day's later, then I think that I have a pretty good idea what a Sno-Commander is.
Sno-Fiter's with AC came with electric over hydraulic pumps, all others were full hydraulic.
Trucks were available with 8 ft' bed only but some were available with the 9 ft. step side bed, (Stripe was on the cab only on the step sides).
In 1976 the 440 option was a mere $300.00
By the way I still have the $500.00 deposit receipt from when I ordered the truck.
