does any one know if there is a way to tell if the factory computer was upgraded,on a 93 d150 5.2 magnum? just wondering.

 

there is not really anything you upgrade on these computers till 96.

 

thanks,was just wondering because i did plugs,wires,cap,rotor,fuel filter,breather,pcv,oil,oil filter,trans fluid and filter,rear oil,fuel pump,water pump,radiator,hoses,timing chain and gears..
just a dam good tune up for 127,000mile truck,the truck has super amounts of power,owned other 318magnums,and none come close to the power of this one,thats why i thought someone maybe upgraded the com.or did something to it.

 

At one time I believe Mopar had a over the counter computer that added performance and it required premium gas.
