Help....Question re intake manifold on 318
Hi,
I am replacing the gaskets on my intake manifold and am a little confused! The new aftermarket ones I have are the same apart from the old ones i have taken off have a plate in the coolant hole part of the gasket (at the rear of the block), which has a small hole in to meter the water I guess?
The new gasket does not have any plate..it is just open so would just let the full amount of water through!!! If I fit the new gaskets (with no metering hole) will it make any difference? (1990 Dodge Ram 1500)
