rear bumper swap?

Default rear bumper swap?

i was rear-ended a few weeks ago by a uninsured driver and i need a new bumper. how much of a pain would it be to put a 2nd gen bumper on my 84?

from what i have read in the 2nd gen section in the past, the rear bumper from a 1st gen and 2nd gen have the same bolt holes and should just bolt on.

Default Rear Bumpers at a Good Price

Check out a couple of places I saw recently for bumpers. www.racepages.com and www.carbodyparts.net

For a little over one bill you can have a brand new one. Don't know how damaged it is but they sell the hardware/brackets also. For mine they had Black, chrome, and silver.

Try having your insurance threaten the uninsured driver with litigation and maybe he will pay some or all of this.
