Default 85 d150 headlight problems

well i already replaced my headlights 2 months ago and i checked all of the fuses theat were there and they were all good and i went through some of the wireing and redid the ones that looked saspicious but on the dimmer switch the wires were pluged in on the top of it and a wire on the side was attached but the one on the bottom had nothing on it but also there were no scratches to say something was there but the turn signal lights come on when i pull the switch to turn on the lights and the dash lights work as well i was hoping that someone could help me eliminate some of the choices left

what exactly is the problem? the front lights are not working? the turn signals and marker lights share the same light bulb so when you turn the lights on they should be on unless you mean that they are flashing which they should not be doing.

The dimmer switch should have a 16 gauge red/white wire (to the headlights) & an 18 gauge red/white wire (to the dash panel connecter) both on one terminal, a 16 gauge yellow wire in the middle (to the headlight switch), and a 16 gauge black wire ( to the headlights) on the third terminal.
