Default '90 W150 New Floor - How to Seal?

My 90 W150 needed a new driver side floor pan:

I spot welded a new floor pan in that i bought from Mill supply. Went pretty well. Looks like crap, but its in there, and it will be covered with the vinyl i took out, once i clean it.

My question is, what should I seal this with. Both inside the cab, and underneath? Im thinking about POR15 for the underside, and 3M drip-check sealer around the seams for the top, followed by a coat of paint.

I used roofing tar on my truck, I've never noticed any leaks.

I plan on coating the inside of mine with a do-it-yourself bedliner. Like duraliner.
