Question 89 d100

so I just got this truck last week, its got a 318 and only has 87k. its missing the exhaust from the Y back. unfortunately I have never worked on an exhaust. I did some research and found in several places that it is a 2.5 in exhaust so I went and got a new cat and muffler to fit. I'm not planning on running a full exhaust. just a couple feet passed the cab and out the side. my question is, when I went to buy pipe, I could not find any with flared ends that fit right. what size pipe should I be looking for?

for now I'm just gonna be clamping it until I get the truck on the road, gonna have it welded soon afterName: JustinTruck.jpg

I'm pretty sure it's off a lincoln of some sort. I guess the previous owner didn't like the ram.... Any ideas on where to get a replacement??

There is no way of knowing what size exhaust is on a truck this old without looking at it. When determining a pipe size I usually use a tape measure. I find it easily provides the needed information.

Thanks but I will never buy parts there again. Ordered a fuel pump and waited three weeks for it to get her. It never came. When I called they were shocked that no one called to tell me that they didn't carry that particular model and haven't for several months.
