Default hesitation problem w/92 W250

I have a small problem with hesitation. At idle my engine (318 mpfi) won't rev for about 2-3 seconds then it will take off. I have replaced the wires, cap, plugs, coil and checked the compression (all 155-160). Above idle there isn't any problem. It will do it in park or if moving without my foot on the gas but when I first hit the gas it will do it. Plenty of power going up hills under load so I think it is getting the right amount of gas from the injectors. I also checked the timing and from what I can tell is 10 degrees btdc. I don't get a fault code.
