Default Mech. Gauges

So I bought a new mechanical oil pressure gauge a few days ago, it came with a 1/8" plastic hose. I've heard that they are no good so should I go with copper instead or will the supplied hose be alright??? What does everyone think

I've had the plastic line break inside the vehicle. It wasn't very fun gettin sprayed with hot oil. Go copper, Going thru the firewall I like to drill the hole big enough that I can Slide a piece of rubber hose over it, where it enters. I also like to "roll" a coil before it enters. That helps absorb any movement from the engine.

Good luck and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
