I am dropping in a 340 and 4 speed that will have Summit Racing Heads in the next few months and plan on adding power sterring to the truck at the same time. Anyone added power steering to their truck and have any helpful hints? Also a list of all of the parts that I will need would be helpful. No experience at all with Power Steering.

i don't think it should be too hard to add power steering to your truck. my 81 has PS. are you sure your truck has no PS and that it is not just disconnected. i know of some people that would remove the belt if the power steering line would blow and keep driving it like that for years.

 

I'll double check on that but im almost positive it does not
