dash lights

Default dash lights

is there a easy way to replace the dash lights? mine went out last night. i have about half on my speedo and temp guage but i cant see the other half of my speedo or or fuel. so any advise helps

you have to take out all the screws out of the piece of of plastic then you can remove it. the you have to remove the heater controls(2 screws) and then you can remove the screws that hold the gauges in. then you have to unplug the 2 plugs and speedo cable from the back of the gauge.

i know that but the truck is an auto so how do you take the shift selector out or off

there is a hook on the end of the cable and it hooks onto a metal piece attached to the shifter. all you should have to do is pull the cable a bit and the hook should fall out of the hole in the shifter. once you see it is should make sense.
