Extended Front Bumper
I've been thinking of extending the front bumper forward on my 91 D150. It looks like it would be easy to add an extension to the frame. I'd like to fab a cover plate for the gap and mount some lights on here and possibly a winch or fishing pole holders. Would also give a sitting space and double as a brush pusher since brush guards are usually kinda expensive, big, ugly and heavy.
Has anyone done this before? Any concerns I should be aware of? Any pics?

Converse, heck your just a hop skip and a jump away. I just knew there had to be more people from San Antonio area. I always see old Dodges around town. I saw your garage, the 93 D150 sounds nice. Mine on the other hand doesn't want to wake up.

I bought mine at the coast "running" and thought rust would be the only worry but I've dealt with timing problems, oil pressure problems and lack of power. Feels like this old horse is breathing through one nostril.
As far as parts go, have you been to Pick & Pull on the southside of San Antonio off Pleasanton Rd. (not the one on Roosevelt) They have quite a few 1st Gen. Pickups and Ramchargers and it's a real clean setup. They rotate new stock frequently and good parts go fast.
