Hi i just ran into some one today who has a bunch of parts from an 85 ram i think and im wondering what is compatible with my 87 if anything he also has a rebuilt carb and a rear end i was thinking would be nice to have but i dont really know what to look for and what i should get hes letting me at it for free all i have to do is remove em so what should i look for? thanks all i'll try and get some more info but he thinks the light covers are the same. not the grill tho

 

any thing off the 85 should bolt onto the 87. both engines should be carbed. the bolt pattern on the wheels should be the same. i don't know what you mean by light covers but if you are referring to the headlight bezels then they should not fit but you might be able to get them to work. my dad's friend gave me the grille for a 81-85 and the bezels for an 86-90 but unfortunately i cant see how i could put them together and make them look good but if he gave me the grille from a 86-90 and the bezels from a 81-85 i think i could have made it look good.
