Wow, I've been searching around online for the last few hours and I am confident saying I have about as much of a chance at finding a live unicorn as I do of finding a good legitimate complete electrical schematic (free) for a d250 pickup or 250 van. I've purchased a chilton's and the schematics are not good.

Does anybody know of an available legitimate free source for a wiring diagram?

 

The library is about as free as it gets. Mitchell's manuals are excellent books for everything. Central libraries have these automotive books and others that you can photocopy diagrams and text out of. Some libraries have subscriptions to Alldata or the like that you can copy diagrams and text from the computer. This is where I get mine, especially for specifics that my manuals don't cover.
