starter is clicking ??

starter is clicking ??

looks like a new starter but when i turn it over it clicks does this mean the starter is bad and the ring gear is not poping up and down or is there something else wrong

its an 1987 d100 318 auto !! is there a safety switch like do i have to press on the brake to start it????

usually if your starter is clicking you have a low or weak battery.

okay well i'll take the battery and the starter in tomorrow to make sure they both work hope it's just the battery !!! thank you
