Default Replacing input shaft seals

After replacing my old steering box with this one I got from the scrap yard, it has started leaking after having it on there for about 3 months. It is leaking at the input shaft. I am wanting to just replace the input shaft seals and hopefully that will stop the leak. The question is how do I get the input shaft off? Does it just pry off? Cause the last steering box I got from the scrap yard I kept the input shaft and the Pitman arm on there and just disconnected it at the ball joint. Yes, I know another dumb question by me.

The steering shaft coupler is splined on to the input shaft and either held in by a roll pin or a threaded bolt, usually an allen head. Spin the shaft around until you can get at the pin/bolt and either unthread it or drive the pin out with a punch. Once that's out you can pry the steer shaft away from the box.
