New Guy
Hi, just thought i would intro myself and through out some basic questions. Have an 1983 W-150 with a 318, but the vin is a T, does that not mean that it did have a 360?
Also, i am going to be trying to restore it (it was my fathers, he passed away in November last year) it was in NY for about 6 years, before that, in Ga. I was wanting to pull the motor, and body, and blast the frame, there is some rust. Then paint the frame and basically rebuilt it. I would like to stay original, but am not sure if it is the factory engine in the truck now. If it is, i want to rebuilt it, and the tranny. Any big tips, tricks, sites, links, photos of yours that would help me out would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

T was used in the VIN to denote a 360 CID 4 barrel from 80 to 82, and a 318 CID 2 barrel from 83 to 87. Your truck was originally a 318 but there is no way I know of to tell if it is the original engine, but I am always willing to learn.
