Default 4 barrel intake, 2 barrel carb

i have an edelbrock intake, but i still have my stock 2 barrel...if i buy that silly adapter kit will it work properly?

Isn't that what the silly adapter kit is for? I would assume that as long as it bolts up, it should be fine.

The factory carb might not flow any better no matter what intake you put it on. You'd probably be better off trying to find a used 4bbl carb. I'd assume that the least flowing part is the carb, not the intake, in which case switching the intake probably wouldn't do anything but slow down your incoming charge of air. Keep in mind that this is based mainly on bags of magic fairly dust, mixed with a sprinkle of experience, not the other way around. I thought you were just asking if it would work at all, so you could swap the intake now, and then wait until you can ditch the 2bbl.

thats what i had planned...just putting a 4 bbl on soon...just wanted to see if it would run right on not "pop" or backfire etc
