i have a 1984 dodge with a slant six, im looking at getting rid of due to a future move, its got a slant six with 137k no ac, its got power steering with some degree of play in the wheel. It is registered in new mexico my buds dad passed so i bought this to help, its a old forestry ranger truck, its got a dana 44 up front not sure whats out back, the truck is located in abilene i wouldnt drive anywhere unless you like to suffer from heat exhaustion. its got the 4sd tranny and could use some new tires good spare, though headace rack, and could use some new paint, it rides like a tank 3/4 ton truck so its solid. the only leak is a oil pan gasket doesn't puddle up though.

I had an old military pickup with a slant six once. It was a 1978 D150 Custom and had a data plate inside the truck. The old forestry trucks had the same thing from what I've read. Maybe you could post a pic of that data plate and give the VIN.

Mine was also emissions delete which made it a breeze to work on. In fact it was radio delete, AC delete, power steering delete, and no headliner as well. Loved it to death but had to get rid of some baggage after a divorce. If it had been a mid to late 70's, I would have jumped at the chance to get it. Good luck to you Justin.

 

its one hell of a 1/2 then!!! i will get you a picture of the data plate, its got the old forestry green with there two antennas and the ac compressor looks new its locked up though and there no lines for it.
