Default 77 dodge truck

I have a low mileage dodge 360 engine 1977 was in a rv that was wrecked 20yrs ago, the engine has about 22000 miles on it. Does anybody know how hard it would be to put it in a 80's chevy 3/4 ton pu? is there an adapter plate for tranny? or should I just go chevy. I hate to let this low mile engine get away. I can't seem to find a dodge to put it in, looked high and low so mabe I will make a chev/dodge out of it. Any suggestions? thanks a newbie whos not skeerd...I am looking for a dodge truck 80's preferably.. I live in the four corners 45 miles s. of Durango colorado in NM. 165 miles nw of albq nm... any one know of any trucks around here let me know thanks...

Heck, you could buy Texxan's truck and transplant it!

It would help it you put up your general location. That way, we would be able to see where you are, and point you towards trucks that we know of for sale in your area. Personally, I really like keeping brands the same when there is a comparable option. (454 in a dodge = no; 351 in a chevy = no; 302 in a miata = yes)
