Front Axle Identification? D250
Guys,
I am about to order a set of Eaton Springs for my D250 and have an issue with which ones I need. Problem is this, they show 3 to 4 different springs, based on the axle that you have in the truck.
A sheet that I have from the dealer shows it has a 5,500# front axle, but that doesnt appear to be an option with any springs out there, the largest showing 4,000#. Any ideas??
My vin is as follows:

Look at the top of your steering knuckle. The Dana 44s have a pressed in ball joint with one big cotter pinned nut with the grease fitting on the bottom. The Spicer 60 has an upper king pin assembly that is identified by a cap that is held on by 4 bolts and the grease fitting is on top.
