Default Aftermarket Torque converter

I got an 86 W150 (5,600lbs) that I'm building a 408 with O/D and 4:56 gears on 35-37's. Trans will be a 95 46Rh and a 91 NP241 T case. I need some suggestion on what would be a good aftermarket TC (brand, stall, flash).

My plans for the truck will be a weekend racer(city)/wheeler/tower/cruzer. Alot of compromise, realisticly it'll see mostly city. Right now its got a 318/727/208 w/ 3:23 gears on 31's. My goal is to be able to burn em through 1-2 and chirp in 3rd but yet have the power to run up to 120-150 or be able to effectivly pass at 75 loaded (3000-4000 lbs) but still cruze 75-80 at 2000-2200 rpm. Nonetheless, I'd like it get as good or better mileage than my lil teener 3spd(10-12mpg).

In a nut shell, I need a TC,cam, gear recommendation for my given limited tire size of 35-37"(needs to fit in garage). My biggest concern is the TC, I'd like to be able to tow 3-5K lbs in 4th at WOT and not worry about my TCC failing or my trans boiling. I'll be running a cooler and a 9qt pan w/ a gauge.

I appreciate any help or light that you can shed.

Thanks

Can this be moved to 2nd gen or transmissions? I dont think many 1st geners are going to be able to help being they dont have LUTC's. LU didnt come out until 94. The point of this thread was for TC recommendation.

My truck is basically a 95 w/ a carb, distributor, V belt and flat tappet cam.

Thanks
