Well first time trouble with my trucks motor have spark but truck wont run keeps throwing code 26 injector trouble smells like its getting gas ita a 88 w250 318 4 spd.with throttle body.

 

Code 26 is a high resistance in one or the other of the two injector output circuits. The other injector may be performing normally or not. Generally if one injector works the engine will run but the engine will not produce much power.

Have someone turn it over while you look down inside the throttle body to check the injector spray pattern. There should be two fine cones of atomized fuel, located at the bottom of each injector, that reach the sides of the throttle body with no gaps or streams. Low ambient light and a flashlight helps to show off the fuel cones easier and I would suggest eye protection in case of a back fire.
