How to increase hp for a 92 318E 3/4 ram van
Could someone please tell what product or action that they have taken to increase their HP for a '92 318E 3/4 ram van. KN only has an air filter. Tornadofuelsaver? Does it really work? I just replaced my transmission. I am not willing to do anything to it. The van tows approx. 6,000 lbs for 6 mos a year. Thanks.
Depends on what you want to spend
Heads, camshaft, intake manifold, headers, high flow cats, etc. You could swap in a newer 318 with the MPFI (if yours is an LA style TBI) and pick up some power.

If you have the money i would just get a 360, you can do alot to the 318, but its still just a 318, just swapping to a 360 would give you alot of horse power, but thats only if you want to spend the money. I would replace the injectors with larger ones, get a new air intake, and a larger fuel pump, it will cost you in gas mileage, but it will give you some more torque and horse power. A new high-flow exhaust would help too, i dont know how your exhaust it set up, but since its a van i am doubting you could have hedders put in.

There is a site on line, i am not sure the name of it, but all they do is build 408 strokers, i found it on a google search for 408's and they had a 408 stroker with 900hp, they had 2 demon 800carbs on top of it, it was awesome, but with those two demons you are talkin gallons per mile, not miles per gallon...
