Transfer case suggestions
So Here is what I have
440
bell housing bb to nv4500
nv4500
np208d
np205
360 out of 84 three quarter ton with auto tranny and transfer case
Considering the bb swap into my 91 w150, the la 318 is worthless.
OR
Rebuild 360 mount in that drive train.
Mainly looking for the input on which transfer case to go with.

The 205 is gear driven and considered to be bullet proof. The 208 has a chain. No comparison. There were two splines 23 and 29 for the 205. The NV4500 used the 29 spline I think but you might want to check that they match.
360 or 440: Depends on what you want to do with the truck. The 440 will be more expensive but there is no replacement for displacement. Unless you really want a radical truck I would use the 360. JMHO
