sticky shifting

i have a 86 1/2 ton 318 ram that is hard to find the gears and is pretty sticky when moveing shifter through gears. does anyone have any ideas?

I would look at the shifter, it could be loose, maybe replace it. I had the same type of problem on my 82, and after i replaced the shifter i havent had a problem since.
