Hello fellas,

Still working on Ele. I just put some Hookers on over the weekend. I wasn't really impressed by the hp/tq this engine is putting out. Being a short bed and running 31's, I figured I could atleast break the tires loose. I KNOW, I know many variables I have not checked yet and I will as soon as I finish the dual exhuast. (Man is it loud with just headers) The PO got the motor from Advanced Auto. A little google work and I come to ATK out of Mexico. Anyone have an idea if this correct or even heard of them before? Second, IF they known, does anyone have an idea what the buildsheet looks like for the internals?

Your small block sould run noticably better once you put the exhaust on. Smaller v8's really need some backpressure to make good power. My 318 was a dog with open headers, put 2" duals with thrush glasspacks on and it runs WAY better.

 

The best assumption I can come up with is these remanufactured engines are completly sock.....
