Default 1987 w150 318 rods warped

The 318 motor runs good but when I replaced the intake manifold gaskets and valve cover gaskets I noticed some of the rods were slightly bent, Do I need to remove the intake to replace push rods and possibly rocker arms, also could some give me a general walk through of how to replacing both??? thank you much appreciated.

i don't think you would need to remove the intake to replace the push rod. i think all you would have to do to replace the push rods is remove the valve covers and then remove the rocker are assembly and pull the push rods. i am not 100% sure since i have not done it before but i don't see why the push rods could not be removed once the rocker arms are removed.

Yeah mine was the same way, I didn't even have any clicking, would have never known if I didn't break down the top end, guess its just a testament to how well built the 318 is.
