Default 79 engine options

okay so while I am sourcing parts for my 318TT build I am wanting to take the truck out for a little while. what engines will bolt up without having to modify mounts or changing transmission.

slant 6, 273, LA318, 340, and 360's all have the same bolt pattern and motor mounts if i remember correctly.

Stick with your 318 if your stayin small block, they are wonderful motors.

and the 318 would not require a different torque converter to go with your trans unlike the 360 which would require an externally balanced torque converter.
