Default 85 D350 to a W350

Hi all, I have a 85 d350 that I want to turn into a 4x4. I am a half *** wrench and my wrench head says I need a 1 ton donor truck, SWAP EM OUT and im done. Have not done a swap before so what am I missing. thanks,BIGTRUCKNUT

I would not recommend doing a 4wd to 2wd frame conversion to a novice
or back yard mechanic..
