^^ Why not both? A 60's/70's Crew Cab Long bed is on my dream wishlist to restore and build to a stupid level someday.

i don't got the parking for it. my 91 is sitting out back of my aunts house rusting away. i would take any crew cab i could find. if i could find a 70's style one i would be even happier but i would settle for newer or older.

That's what i meant was a 70's style crew. Both your desires, wrapped up in one sensual package.

the hard part would be finding one. i have been lucky to find a few 80's style crew cabs for sale but have only seen 1 70's style one for sale and it had a diesel under the hood and out of my price range.

+ 1 on that brother. Seems like they did better with rust protection in the 80's...

i wouldn't mind trying to stick 70's style front fenders, doors and bird bath hood on my 81. i have seen 70's style truck with the newer boxes and they look kind of nice with the line on it.

Cab and fender lines would be wrong... My dad had a '78 with an '81 bed on it, it wasn't bad... I'll dig up a picture.

I can't get this one to embed... Dunno why. Anyway follow the link that's the one.

that is what i was thinking of. i think with where the line starts on the box it almost looks like it continues off the door.
posting pics can be like rocket science. not everyone can do it
