oh..cool. at least i dont have to wonder about them. did you have to get a mini starter or were they a "just right" fit?

the wheels and tires on my truck are about shot and they are the factory steel/hubcap wheels. they are pretty much dry rotted and like 3 of the 4 hub caps are cracked and broken in one way or another. what wheels look better on these 1st gen rams to you guys?? there is a wide variety of dodge, ford, and jeep wheels on craigslist as well as aftermarket (i hope i have not committed a forum sin by thinking about cross branding lol). i am planning on lifting the body at least 3" and want maybe a 33 or 35 size in tires. just looking for opinions?

Ohhh.... That. I still have the old style starter, but to get it off the header comes too. It took some fanaggling to get it all in there, but I'm happy with it now.

the engine out of a 2nd gen is suppose to bolt in to these trucks but i am not sure about the transmissions. parts wise i don't think anything is interchangeable. when i do dig into my engine i am hoping to install an RV cam.
btw, what is an RV cam? is it exactly what its called? a cam out of an RV...

it has a couple different names but it is commonly use in RV's because it usually gets you good gas mileage on the highway while giving you good low end torque. it can also be called a towing cam.

I was Googleing this and realized..no one ever answered my question about the trim package. What makes a D150 "CUSTOM"...custom? Engine? Suspension? Interior?

Custom = base model, or maybe the trim level one step above base level.
