i have a 1991 ram w150, auto tranny. all i know about it is it has a NP241 Transfer case will a 727 torqueflite bolt up to it or no?

 

I'm assuming you have an a518 trans now but yes and no a 727 4x4 trans can be made to work.

A. You will need a 727 trans that has the 205\208\241 x-fer case type tail housing (small block only) not the old 203 x-fer case type.
b. You will need to either get different drive shafts or have yours modified (longer rear\shorter front)
c. Cross-member will need to be either modified or get one from a truck with the 727

Might be a couple things I forgot as well.
