my 93 was the same way when i bought it. is yours 2wd?? if it is the front springs are shot, provided you are running the stock size tire. my stock size is 235-75-15. when i put new springs shocks and bushings (control arm) and ball joints,it picked the front up got about 5 inches above the tire to the bottom of the fender. if you go higher than stock you could get a BORGESON steering shaft, they are adjustable,i put one of these on anyway to keep from always rebuilding the steer coupler. good luck

What size tires do you have? And if you life your truck I would recommend a suspension lift, they are more expensive but better and slightly easier to do.

I have a 92 w150 with 35 in tires and a 4 in lift. The fenders were trimmer by a previous owner who only had about a 2in lift and they barly fit, now the fit pretty well but not a whole lot of room.

I have a 1993 D250 and i have a 2" body lift on it with 1" coil spacers .. and the steering shaft didn't pull out but a 3/32 of an inch... the only unexpected problem i ran into was the "shift linkage" ... the linkage that comes off of the steering shaft that changes the gears on an automatic transmission .. you will have to reposition that ... it sucked but it only took 10 mins, a lot of trial and error. 3" body lift would have been nice but I don't want to F with that linkage anymore...

33x12.5x16.5 Turned before i did the BL .. an old skool trick is to take a Softball bat (due to the larger barrel) put it in front of your tire and pull forward slowly ... i did it and it didn't F anything up.
