Default shaking but stops when braking

ok i just got bought a 93 ram charger today. i have not had it or known about the problem for long enough to take a look at it but i was hoping someone might be able to give me some idea's. i did get to check the one wheel when it was on the hoist at the garage for safety and it seemed good. the shaking started when i would hit 60mph and would almost seem to continue all the way back down to 30mph or when i hit the brakes the shaking also disappears. i am guessing the problem must be brake brake related but is there anything else i should check. i was planning on using this thing as my summer vehicle. thanks

The brakes would not be my first guess. Out of balance wheels/tires can cause that. Out of round tires, from sitting in one spot too long, can cause that. Loose/worn wheel bearings can cause that. Is it a W or D?

it is a D. only 2wd. the tires looked fairly good but there was one tire that looked a bit funny. i have a spare set that i could try tossing one if i can't find a problem with the brakes.

i think the problem may be in the tires. i checked the front wheel bearings and there was not enough slop in them to be causing the shaking i was feeling last night also i took it out for a drive today and i was able to do 60mph with out it shaking so i am not sure.
