Default Looking for power

Looking to get some cheap power out of and old goat.
I have spent alot of time and money on this truck and I have a 318 in it I want to get rid of but i want it to drop first, looking for some cheap power in the mean time. Any ideas??

i don't think there is much you can do to gain any power on a 88 with a 318. the computer on those truck limit what you can do to them.

Also, good luck trying to kill it. Actually making sure its dead, not just limping might be just as hard as making power out of it.

Comp cams makes a few cams you can use. http://www.compperformancegroupstore...ACAMRFHRCC8891 Nobody really makes an intake manifold to use with the TBI, but there is an adapter available somewhere.

I have a computer from a 91 not sure if there is a difference, never tried to run it.
I have put the truck and engine through hell the past 5 years, the truck bit the dust need a complete rebuild but the motor wont give, I was looking to upgrade once I finish the truck but I am not sure what to.
