Default Windshield Seal Leak

Hi, I have a 1991 dodge w150 and I have a leak in my windshield. As you can see in the picture, the seal on the top of the driver side windshield has a crack in it. It doesn't leak excessively, but it does make the carpet wet by the drivers side door and it gets annoying. I do not want to get new seals. I was wondering if it would work if I just smeared some caulk inside. Any ideas or input is greatly appreciated.

It could be leaking around the door. I had a truck that would leak at the door-the molding for the window was no good

Thanks for the response, i checked the door, but all is good there. If you pull back on the seal slightly, there is a visible crack underneath where you can tell water has been leaking through. Hard to explain without picture. Any further ideas? Do you know if caulk will work?

Caulk seals two surfaces, so caulk will work. However, I don't know how long it will last without coming through again.

ok, i figured caulk would work, but i wasn't sure. I guess the question remains about how long it will last. I'd like to do it before it rains again so I suppose i'll give it a go and we will find out how long it lasts. Thanks for the response
