Those gauges look great. I kind of like the look of cars with Tach in the middle but that's just me. Good luck with the installation. I think I'm going to do mine here in a couple weeks too.

I really think the speedo will be more functional in the center. Just seems right. I look at it the most, center of attention. The fuel gauge(lol) then tach. Good luck on your gauge install.

Also, what would be the easiest way to get the fuel gauge to work?

The easist way would be to see if autometer has the quad gauge you want with the correct fuel gauge for a dodge sending unit. Most of the time they will not since most of what they have is geared towards the chevy crowd.

Another option is a programable fuel level gauge but I again doubt they will have that in the quad-gauge set up you want but it is worth a look.

Lastly, get a sending unit to match the gauge and figure out how to "modify" (cut holes) in your gas tank or work on your original fuel pick-up to work with the gauge.

It looks like Auto meter only offers the universal fuel sending unit for the quad gauge setup. The spedo in the center is the most sensible. I hardly ever look at the fuel gauge.. with it never being right and all

i think you could adapt the a universal sending unit the to operate the gas gauge. there is not much to a sending unit. this is what the one that is currently in my 81 looks like.

Looks like the one they sell on the autometer website will work.
