I have a 1984 D100 and today i sprayed the engine with degreaser, sprayed it off with the hose and it ran fine after that. i pulled into my garage and it was sitting for a few hours and when i went back out, it wont start. It won’t even turn over. I checked the distributor to see if i got that wet inside and it was entirely dry. The headlights and radio works and when i try to start it the brake light goes on on my dash, but it doesn’t even make a noise. HELP PLEASE!

 

sounds like you have a bad connection at your starter relay. could try running power to the brown wire on the starter relay.
