Post New Truck, Wiring Problems

Recently bought a 1993 ram250 and have a little wiring issue. one of the issues is when i open my driver side door the interior light does not turn on, passenger side works fine. Another problem i am having is when i turn my lights on the left turn signal light illuminates and when i turn my left tun signal on the light blinks like normal. only aftermarket wiring as i know of is a trailer brake.

have you checked the door jamb switch? they seem to be a common place for failure. now the other issue sounds like someone replace a light socket in the front and wired it wrong. you may want to look for any wires that have been cut and fixed up. then you just have to figure out what wires are what and hook them up correctly.

Thumbs up

Update: I popped out the front driver side lens and popped the bulb out and turns out the running light part of it was burnt out but the turn signal portion was functional. still working on the door jamb switch. Thanks for the reply I thought they were related.
