Be careful when looking at axles from a W250\W350 if it was diesel as some\many of them had the D61\D71 which are not quite the same as the D60\D70.

Also remember that a D60 will have 8 lug axles. so if you go with a D60 rear and your stock D44 up front (5-lug) you will need to carry 2 spares.

Also keep a look out for D60 fronts out of Chevy's as well as their passenger side drop D-60's will work as well it is just that the spring perches are off a little which requires a little effort bolting them in but work fine.

I also didn't see what gear ratio you have now and what your looking for? You need to be certain both axles are the same. I also doubt you will find a rear D-60 that will match what you have now. If you currently have 3.23's you are out of luck finding a D60 to match...you could get lucky if you have 3.55's now.

What are your goals for this truck? Bigger wheels\tires, extensive use off-road or carrying loads then If you think you need the D60 rear then you really need the D60 front.

Thanks for the heads up about the 61/71. As for gearing, I plan on running 4.56s on 35x12.5s. Eventually I want to put in a selectable locker in the rear. I use the truck as a daily driver but also take it offroad quite often. Also I take it on camping trips. Infrequent hauling. Thanks

You don't necessarily need two spares in this situation. You could get an 8 lug to 5 lug adaptor and one 5 lug spare tire. It does make rotation of tires a hassle though.
