Default Edelbrock Throttle Linkage HELP!

I have a 1984 dodge d150 with a 5.2L 318 I put an Edelbrock Performer 600cfm four barrel carburetor on it but i'm having trouble with the passing gear and gas peddle linkage to the carb. I am coming up to short on the throttle cable to mate with the linkage on the side of the carb. Is there a kit out there from edelbrock specific for engines to setup the linkage? Does anyone have any pictures of a 318 they put an edelbrock on i can go off of?

Thank you!

have you loosened the clamp on the throttle cable so it can slide forward a bit?

Here is a photo of my linkage on the 1406 carb that is on my 318. I used the Edelbrock Performer Series Throttle Lever Adapter Part No 1481. If you have problems, call Edelbrock support, they provide excellent support on the phone.

I just installed an edelbrock onto my 1984 Dodge Ram 360, and bought the adapter 1481, but now I can't find the rod that connects the kickdown arm to the adapter. It wasn't even connected when I replaced the carb, so I'm at a loss trying to find this part. Do you know the part #?? I've searched for kick down stud, kickdown rod, kick down linkage, throttle linkage. And nothing looks like the one you have. Please help!!

Was it hooked up on the old carb?
Looks to me in the pic that you are talking about the rod with the springs on both ends. Is this it http://www.ebay.com/itm/MoPar-CARB-THROTTLE-NUT-PIN-STUD-A-E-B-F-C-BODY-KICKDOWN-CUDA-DUSTER-GTX-/181781478132?vxp=mtr&hash=item2a53053af4&nma=true&si=tglOEno3EUZ%252Fq9X0jZv%252FEBg7POg%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557That is used here is new http://www.dantesparts.com/carblinkagestuds.html

Take a look at your old carb and see if it is on there and can be taken off.

Yep that's it. Nope it wasn't connected to the old carb. There wasn't even a return spring on it. Holley has a throttle stud that's close to the picture you posted, but edelbrock doesn't. I bought the adapter so the kickdown arm will line up. Gonna hit the junkyard today and see if I can find a stud. Thank you!
