Correct me if Im wrong but I dont think the d150s have blocks in the back to begin with so you could add blocks in the back and the a spacer or new coil altogether in the front. Dont know much about 2wd lifts in the front but the back would be the same. You could get lift springs for the back but unless you are going very high (no reason to in a 2wd) then blocks would be fine. 4x4s come with blocks in the back stock

I did 2" lift coils from Coil Spring Specialties. They can custom build coils. Eaton Springs can do them also. Or you can go econo by doing a leveling kit. Coil spring spacers with a max of 2". Anything over that will be a problem for stock control arms / ball joints. You won't find a listing for 1st gens BUT the 94up 2wd 1500 will fit. Be sure to get the 2wd version. The big difference between spacers and coils is cost. For the rear just use an add-a-leaf kit. You will need longer u-bolts too. I also did the body lift and liked it. It's pretty intimidating but went on easy. Lube the bolts well. I busted one and it was a PITA to get out. You will have to fab a few parts for fit but nothing major and a telescoping steering shaft. Tell you what, a lift will really add some character.

energy suspension makes drop and lift control arms ... found that out last night but there is some guy in AZ that used the upper arm and HD 3/4 springs from MOOG on a 79 d200 and in raised up the front a lot. And that is a 440 in it. So with the V6 it should work. I posted a question on a different thread and nobody in almost 100 views has responded. "what about fabricating, lift lower arms?" using the concept of lowering a d series but in reverse.
