Default What's it Worth? 1986 Dodge Power RAM

We acquired a 1986 Dodge Power RAM 250 Royal SE 4 x 4 about 8 years ago when we bought our home - came with the house. It's in fair condition, one issue is there is a drain on the battery which we have never found, may just need a new battery, I believe the previous owner had done some work on the engine as needed - don't have the details but can find out. We mainly used this truck as a hay hauler, so low miles since we've had it. Mileage is 149,000... We are in Central Oregon and the previous owner was the original owner.

Does anyone have any idea of what this truck could sell for?

Thanks

can't really tell you without pictures but i would guess something that is running and driving that could be plated for use on the roads would be worth about $1500.

Agreed with wolfie. An average beat up old usable truck would be about $1-2000 in my area. $5-700 for a pile of junk. And about $4 tops if it is in really really good shape, as in "what most 1986 trucks looked like in 1994" kind of shape.

You are at a disadvatage for trying to sell an older 4x4 in your area. Good for purchaser, bad for seller. Where you are, rust isnt much of an issue, so there are plenty of above average trucks up there. Where I am, in Iowa, a rust free truck is worth a mint. I would agree with the others, $1500 to $2200 depending on options and how bad someone wants it. In my neck of the woods, it might be worth closer to $3000.

Thank you all for your answers. We have actually listed it at $1500 OBO. We just wanted to make sure we weren't under listing it since not really knowing much about these trucks.
thanks again.
