Default '78 Power Wagon and '91 Ram

Does anyone know if the complete dash interchanges from 78 to 91 models? I wanted to put a '91 dash into a '78 Power wagon. Someone told me that they think they will just bolt in....and also said almost everything bolts on and off the years. Thanks for any help you can provide.

I also asked a similar question not all that long ago. I never did try it, I decided to go a different route, but the answers I recieved would lead one to believe that the do indeed interchange. Never heard from anyone that had done it first hand, but most agreed that the sheet metal in the cabs didnt change, or changed very little and the dash should bolt in. Let us know if you find out for certain. - Scooter

The Top of dash around windshield bolts up the same but the 2 bolts one on each side of the lower metal cross member dont have a factory hole to bolt too . But you can always use self tapping bolts there . And the 78 lower dash corner brackets ,If tack welded , need to be removed . I am Doing a simular swap in my 75 D300 using 85 RC Dash
