Default Belt line window seals

I have a 91 D150 and the belt line window seals have hardened and cracked over the years. I have found two different manufactuers, one being Precision @ $95.00 a set and Fairchild @ $39.00 a set. Anyone have any experience in changing out the seals and know the difference between the two?

Without a link to what exactly you are looking at it is impossible to answer the question. I have replaced mine and I got them from J.C. Whitney. Maybe the Precision ones are for both doors and the Fairchild one is for only one door, or they could be for totally different parts, or whoever is selling the Precision ones may be crazy.

I have purchased the Fairchild's from Rock Auto. The quality seems pretty good. As a footnote, I found that lubricating the window channels with spray silcone makes a big difference when sliding them down into the door channel.

Check out 1aauto. They have the complete kit for both sides for mine for $94. Beltlines inner and outer, door seals, and window channels. I bought from them and JCW before and both were good. This time, I bought the whole set and saved some money. BTW - free shipping too at 1aauto.

I also purchased the same one as Sixgun... Great kit, everything fit perfectly and was much cheaper to buy it all together.
