converting to 4wd
you need to install the the spring bushings in the frame for the rear shackle and you need to install the the brackets under the radiator support (to the frame) for the front spring brackets. Then you can install the leaf springs and bolt in the axle.
You should know that none of those parts are available new so you will need to find good ones in the junk yard or go over to ramcharger central and but the parts from the vendor there Jungle. http://ramchargercentral.com/jungleshddodgecomponents/

Which chevy front axle? Keep in mind that the spring perches on chevy's are narrower and you will have to bow in the springs a bit.
You will also need to get the 4wd steering box plate or convert to cross-over steering.

Yes and No...you will need to cut the holes in the frame for the rear spring bushing. You will need to cut the rivets out of the frame below the rad support on both the donor and your truck to swap the front spring hangers and bolt that back on...be certain to use Grade 8 hardware.
