Default E 3 spark plugs 83 ram

I've always been curious about these spark plugs I have a 83 ram 318 with a four barrel and I'd like to try these plugs so I would get a more complete burn and possibly better mileage, d like to know if any one has tried these spark plugs and if they perform like the ads say they do, thank you.

they are a waste of money. you will most likely notice no difference in gas mileage or power. standard copper plugs work best. now i personally prefer NGK v-power plugs. never had one die on me. i find the quality of champion plugs has gone down hill and i would not run them in my truck. i don't know much about the other brand copper plugs since there is not too many to choose from here.

Used Champions for over 60 years. Had a bad one, one time.
That was about 50 years ago.

Thanks for the advice, I think what I will try instead is a higher voltage coil, I knew another guy that bought one on his 83 and it gave it noticing more power and started better, over the 2 years I've had the pickup ive increased mpgs from 12 to 16 and haven't touched a whole lot of stuff or replace a whole lot of parts.

i used to work at a race engine shop and they are proven to make less power, exhuast gas temperatures are cooler, but in most cases that isnt good, a high voltage coil will help but the best bang for the buck when it comes to spark is a msd box.... provides more spark for longer with more heat... you might have to run a different heat spark plug though

I gave them a shot in my Dakota with a 3.9L. Didn't notice any difference in power or see an increase or decrease in gas mileage. Wasn't it worth it for me.
