I can try to run some sea foam through it, but I dont think that is the problem. I will try it tho.

 

with something that is 20 years old and only has 40k miles on it has most likely done a fairy bit of sitting around. gas goes bad especially since almost all gas sold contains ethanol and that ethanol seems to make things corrode. could also check and clean the idle air control motor if you have not already.
